UK trade mission and pavilion at Medical Fair India 2018

In March 2018 (12th – 18th) companies will have the opportunity to be part of the UK trade mission and pavilion at Medical Fair India 2018. The Association of British Healthcare Industries (ABHI) and the Department for International Trade (DIT) have partnered up this year to hold the Medical Fair India, alongside a trade mission to two of India’s most dynamic cities: Bangalore and Mumbai.

The programme also includes several hospital visits and networking receptions as well as the opportunity to visit the exhibition centre. Companies will be allocated into designated custom pods to display their products and literature and will be provided with expert advice and support from ABHI and DIT. There are limited places for 2018, so it is recommended that, if interested, you contact ABHI’s Sarah Izon as soon as possible (Sarah Izon – 0207 960 4376 – exhibitions@abhi.org.uk).

India is expected to be one of the top three countries with incremental growth in healthcare markets by 2020. In fact, it is expected to grow by 22.87% between 2015 and 2010. It is one of the fastest growing industries in the country and became the country’s fifth largest employer in 2015, with 4,713,061 people.

Medical Fair India is the leading medical trade fair in the Indian market and it is growing every year. In 2017, 13,500 decision makers turned out at the fair to visit the 519 exhibitions (see graphics below) and learn about the latest trends and innovations in the healthcare industry.
