On Sunday 24 April, Frankfurt’s experimental music duo Les Trucs will perform in Birmingham as part of the Flatpack Film Festival during The Last Laugh screening.

Les Trucs are Charlotte Simon, Zink Tonsur and a variety of electronic gadgetry. Together, they process and revise the intersection of music, performance and installation. Since 2008 Les Trucs have released several records on international labels and played more than 400 concerts throughout Europe.

Les Trucs’ visit to Birmingham is part of an exchange with Frankfurt’s like-minded Lichter Filmfest, and has been supported by Goethe-Institut London. It’s one element of a year of celebrations marking 50 years since the twinning of Birmingham and Frankfurt.
