Birmingham Commonwealth Association will be raising the Bajan flag on Monday 30th November to mark 49th year of independence for Barbados.

The association is also delighted to welcome the Bajan High Commissioner, HE Guy Hewitt who will be travelling from London to Birmingham to partake in the ceremony and meet with Birmingham’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Ray Hassall.  The BCA Communities Group is supported by 2nd Generation of Barbadians and Friends (Birmingham), which has been helping to co-ordinate the visit.
