Workshop with UK National Contact Point: Horizon 2020 Nanotechnology, Materials, Manufacturing, Processes & Biotechnology (Call 2016/17)

Date: 9th October 2015.

Time: 13:00 – 14:00.

Venue: University of Birmingham
(room to be confirmed on registration. Car park available on site; 5 min walk from University station).

Scope:

The European Commission will launch the new Horizon 2020 call on Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing in October. The University of Birmingham has arranged for the UK National Contact Point to present the opportunities that are open to applicants in the new call, as well as the lessons learnt from the previous calls.

This workshop will provide researchers and technologists with an overview of all the topics Horizon 2020 will fund under this call both in 2016 and 2017. As such it will help know which areas will be relevant to them, when the deadlines will be and as such inform their networking and bidding effort over the next two years.
