In 2014, Innovation Birmingham’s Climate-KIC West Midlands project grew its community, forming new partnerships with the cities of Cork and Dublin in Ireland, and extending their innovation, entrepreneurship and education programmes to more people than ever before. In 2015, we would like to use our broadened community to continue playing our role in shaping the low carbon economy in the West Midlands.

The launch event will be an opportunity to find out about all of programmes and partnership opportunities in 2015, including:

• Pioneers into Practice: a professional, cross-Europe exchange programme for people with expertise in working sustainably, stakeholder engagement or sustainable technologies and processes;

• Accelerator: a business incubator programme for sustainable start-ups;
• CleanLaunchpad: a cross-Europe cleantech ideas competition;
• The Journey: a postgraduate summer school programme, involving two European universities;
• Pathfinder and Innovation projects: Partners to the project develop cross-Europe projects and apply for funds from Climate-KIC;
