The High Commissioner for Jamaica, Her Excellency Aloun Ndombet-Assamba is to lead a high level delegation to Birmingham on Wednesday 2nd July 2014. The visit is part of a ‘JN Outlook for the future’ event which aims to promote dialogue between the Jamaican government and key sector leaders with Jamaicans and friends of Jamaica in the Diaspora in the UK. Trade and export will be high on the agenda, but the event is also an opportunity for the community to come together. This is a public event and will be held at Aston Villa Conference centre from 7pm till 9.30pm on July 2nd. The Leader of Birmingham City Council will be extending a warm welcome to the delegation and is delighted that the legacy from hosting the Jamaican Olympic Team in 2012 continues to this day.
The event is being organised by Jam Pro, the Jamaican Development Agency based in London.
