Calling all lovers of German culture and German language!

Several German themed events are coming to Birmingham to celebrate 50 years of partnership between Birmingham and Frankfurt cities:

17 November

9am Exporting to Frankfurt event for small and medium sized enterprises

Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce / Enterprise Europe Networks

Conference: The University and the City – working together in the area of sport, physical activity and grassroots engagement. Event co-organised by the University of Birmingham and Goethe University Frankfurt with the support of Birmingham City Council and the City of Frankfurt

Future of Anglo-German Cultural Relations (This meeting will be in German)

A-level and university students, as well as members of the general public, are warmly invited to this Q&A with Frau Charlotte Schwarzer, the Kulturattachée at the German Embassy in London. She will answer questions on topics such as culture, higher education, language policy, and youth exchange. Please submit your questions by 14 November here.

Public debate organised by Aston Centre for Europe (ACE)
