Aston Business Network’s talk on the implications of the EU referendum for SMEs

Europe Day

On 17 February, Aston University is holding its regular networking event for local businesses. These events are aimed at providing an opportunity for companies to meet each other in a friendly and informal setting, as well as hearing from a topical guest speaker.

The referendum on whether or not the UK is to remain a member of the European Union is a hotly debated topic. Mark Hart, Professor of Small Business and Entrepreneurship at Aston Business School, will give a short talk on the implications of the EU referendum for SMEs. He has recently published the results of a survey on the attitudes of high-growth small businesses towards ‘Brexit’, which found that 75 per cent of those polled want Britain to stay in the EU; and is expected to address the the views of British SMEs on the EU referendum, and it’s possible implications.

The event is free to attend, and anyone interested can sign up here.

The event will take place from 17.00 to 19.30 the 17th February, at Aston University Campus’ main building.
