Birmingham Chamber has won the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs contract, January 2016

Amerdeep MangatBirmingham Chamber of Commerce’s international department has won a prestige two-year EU funded contract to help West Midland businesses get off the ground and help create new jobs. Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is an exchange programme for entrepreneurs which offers candidates the chance to work alongside an experienced counterpart in another EU country and strengthen the skills needed to develop businesses.

The program aims to share experiences and to develop international contacts and knowhow by targeting entrepreneurs with plans to start a new business or people who have a business which is less than three years old.

The entrepreneurs receive grants to cover their living costs at no charge to the companies involved, thus encouraging host organizations to come forward and work with the participants in their own headquarters.
