‘After Paris; the future of Europe’ Lecture by Her Excellency Sylvie Bermann, 1 December 2015

As part of the Vice-Chancellor’s Distinguished Lecture series, University of Birmingham is honoured to welcome Her Excellency Sylvie Bermann, to deliver a keynote talk. A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, Ms Sylvie Bermann embarked on her diplomatic career in 1979, and has been French Ambassador to the United Kingdom since July 2014.

 

The Ambassador will speak on the future of Europe following the tragic events in Paris, the fight against terrorism, why France and the UK need to stand united, and why the EU is so important to all our futures.
