Pupils from Baskerville School were enjoying free rides on the carousel on the German Christmas Market on Tuesday. The youngsters were among 1178 children from special schools in Birmingham enjoying free rides on the carousel at the Victoria Square this year, thanks to the generosity of Bob Wilson’s Funfairs. As part of the special school programme, pupils are also being treated to free soft drinks from the Loewenthal family stall at the Market.

Birmingham City Council have been coordinating the programme for over 10 years now.
